About Me...
Thanks for dropping by, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Brandi and I am a Registered Massage Therapist practicing in rural Saskatchewan. I graduated from the Western College of Remedial Massage Therapy in Regina in 2004 and started my practice in the Queen City. In 2011 a family move brought me to Perdue, a small rural town 40 minutes west of Saskatoon. I have been happily practicing at my clinic Perdue Massage and Acupuncture ever since and have loved serving a rural and remote small town population.
I am passionate about education and have taken many continuing education classes and opportunities over the years. These opportunities have lead to expanded qualifications such as 500ERYT and certification from McMaster University in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture I was able to transfer my Massage Therapy Diploma into a bachelor's degree and in 2021 I graduated from Horizon College with a BA(Hons). |
An exciting project for me has been working with the Farmer's and Rancher's Mental Health Initiative, a research group through Sask PolyTechnic. Through is group I have been active in researching rural and remote culture and how it relates to healthcare in Saskatchewan. I am so please to be a contributing industry partner to two ground breaking rural medicine papers, one of which was published in the Journal of Rural Medicine in 2023 and the second of which is set to be published in 2024. Currently I am working on a third research project focusing on the the experiences of Registered Massage Therapists in rural and remote Saskatchewan and hope to publish our findings a as co-author in 2025.
I am so pleased to join with you to expand your own continuing education horizons and to create engaging educational content that help you to meet your practice goals, satisfy your professional interests, and keep you pain free while you treat.
