rmtPRO Facial Massage (Level 1)The rmtPRO Facial Massage course was written specifically to adhere to the RMT scope of practice within Canada. This is the best and most comprehensive Facial Massage course on the market! Our first lecture is always scope of practice in which we learn about the massive differences between a "facial" and professional RMT Facial Massage. In this 3 day, packed out class learn the assessment of the soft tissue and joints of the face (YES! This includes Buccal Technique!), neck, and décolleté. Apply therapeutic massage techniques for the treatment and prevention of physical dysfunction and pain of the soft tissues and joints including appropriate post surgical scar tissue work and nerve impingement treatment. Learn how to develop, maintain, rehabilitate, or augment the functioning of the tissue and relieve pain in these areas. Master the techniques you need to meet your clients goals for treatment through proper assessment and by applying your new knowledge to your unique practice situation. Small Town RMT - 1 DayCalling all small town, rural, and remote RMTS! In this one day seminar/webinar we gather RMTs who want to grow a thriving Registered Massage Therapy Practice while living small town, rural, and remote culture. We dive into the research of small town, rural, and remote culture, it’s unique worldview, lifestyle, associated injuries, and the benefits and challenges of this culture in order to plan and grow a sustainable RMT practice. Dealing with issues on everything from “small town gossip”, to enclosed religious/tribal populations, blurred professional boundaries, and other “territorial” RMTs, etc.... this course kicks up all the dust on every unique issue that small town RMTs deal with but don’t talk about or find supports for. With so many RMTs living in rural and remote populations scattered through out Canada, and in a time when healthcare is impossible for most people obtain in a rural and remote areas, we have a large opportunity as RMTs to offer our form unique healthcare to this underserved populations.
