About Me...

Picture
Thanks for dropping by, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Brandi and I am a Registered Massage Therapist practicing in rural Saskatchewan. I graduated from the Western College of Remedial Massage Therapy in Regina in 2004 and started my practice in the Queen City. In 2011 a family move brought me to Perdue, a small rural town 40 minutes west of Saskatoon. I have been happily practicing at my clinic Perdue Massage and Acupuncture ever since and have loved serving a rural and remote small town population.

I am passionate about education and have taken many continuing education classes and opportunities over the years. These opportunities have lead to expanded qualifications such as 500ERYT and certification from McMaster University in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture. I was able to transfer my Massage Therapy Diploma into a bachelor's degree and in 2021 I graduated from Horizon College with a BA(Hons).
An exciting project for me has been working with the Farmer's and Rancher's Mental Health Initiative, a research group through Sask PolyTechnic. Through this group I have been active in researching rural and remote culture and how it relates to healthcare in Saskatchewan. I am so please to be a contributing industry partner to two ground breaking rural medicine papers, one of which was published in the Journal of Rural Medicine in 2023. Currently I am working on a third research project focusing on the the experiences of Registered Massage Therapists in rural and remote Saskatchewan and hope to publish our findings a as lead author.
I am so pleased to join with you to expand your own continuing education horizons and to create engaging educational content that help you to meet your practice goals, satisfy your professional interests, and keep you pain free while you treat.

Policies and Frequently Asked Questions...

How do I register for a course or class?
There is online registration available at the bottom of the registration/calendar page, or give me a call, text, or email and I will walk you through the registration process. I will need information like your professional association, and personal contact information. Your space is officially reserved upon credit card payment or e-transfer of your course tuition and fees.
Will I be provided with a receipt?
Yes of course! I am a one woman show and terrible with admin work, but have started emailing receipts when your payment comes through. Electronic receipts are provided at this time.
What if something comes up?
Up to 2 weeks before class I am happy to offer you a spot with a different course date or transfer your tuition to a different rmtPRO course. Transfer fee is $200. Any transfers on short notice(less than 2 weeks) are subject to a $350 transfer fee.  All transfer credits are to be used within 18 months of transfer. There are no refunds provided.
Can I pay my tuition in installments?
Yes, you are allowed 2 installment payments. We can work together to schedule your payments. Your spot in class will be reserved upon your 2nd installment payment.
I am very picky about the products that I use, why can't I bring my own?
There are many great homemade and commercial products on the market, however, for safety, sanitization, and consistency in the learning process I do not allow for the substitution of home made products or products brought in personally by the student. But don't worry! We will be using all professional products of the highest quality as we learn. My personal favorite products come from Greene Envee, Dermaquest, Biotone, and Eminence Organics Skincare. You will have a good foundation to ask the right questions about any massage mediums that you choose to look into.
Are you a rep for skincare products?
Nope! I do retail product in my own clinic but am not looking to and can not wholesale to you.
